LONDON DIRECT CHAUFFEURS LTD
Chauffeur Invoice Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 September 2026. Applies to the Android and iOS Chauffeur Invoice app, version 1.0.3.
App identifier: com.londondirectchauffeurs.chauffeurinvoice
Who provides the app
Chauffeur Invoice is provided by LONDON DIRECT CHAUFFEURS LTD. For privacy questions or requests, email info@londondirectchauffeurs.com.
Information you enter
The app processes information you enter to prepare and manage invoices. This includes company names, addresses, contact details, optional tax and company registration numbers, payment instructions, customer names and contact details, passenger and journey details, service descriptions, amounts, invoice dates and payment status. You also have the option to select a company logo or item pictures.
These details are stored locally within the app on your device. The app does not require registration or a login, and it does not upload your invoice records to a LONDON DIRECT CHAUFFEURS LTD server.
How the app uses information
The app uses your entries to calculate totals, display invoice layouts, remember company information, save drafts and invoice history, generate PDF files and prepare messages you choose to share. It does not include advertising, advertising identifiers or third-party analytics for tracking your use. It does not request your device location. Journey locations are details you enter.
PDF downloads, email and sharing
When you save a PDF, the app creates a file containing the invoice details and any images included on the invoice. Exported files are separate from the editable invoice records stored within the app.
When you select email or sharing, the app passes the invoice PDF and relevant message details to your device's email composer or chosen app. You select or review the recipient and complete sending there. Your chosen email, messaging, file-storage or cloud provider processes the information under its own terms and privacy policy. LONDON DIRECT CHAUFFEURS LTD does not operate the email delivery service and does not automatically receive copies of invoices you send.
Temporary PDF attachments are written to the app's cache. Your device manages cached files, and copies might remain until the cache is cleared. Removing an invoice inside the app does not remove copies already exported, backed up or sent.
Files and device access
The app uses the files or photos you select for logos and item images. It uses device storage to save invoices, PDFs and temporary attachments. Your operating system controls file access, sharing and permissions. The app does not need access to your address book to send an invoice.
App purchases
Google Play or Apple's App Store handles payment for the app. Chauffeur Invoice does not collect your payment-card details. Purchase records and any information the store provides to the developer are handled under the store's terms and applicable obligations. This policy does not replace the store's privacy policy.
Retention, backups and deletion
Company details, drafts and saved invoices remain on your device until you change or delete them or remove the app's stored data. Use invoice-history controls to remove saved records. To remove all local records, clear the app's storage using your device settings or delete the app and its data. Offloading an app or restoring a backup might preserve or restore its data.
Device backups depend on your operating system and backup settings. Review those settings separately. Delete exported PDFs, emails and cloud copies through the apps or services where you saved or sent them. We do not have remote access to retrieve, change or delete invoice records held only on your device.
Support and your rights
If you contact us, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and resolve your enquiry, and retain them only as needed for support, records and applicable legal obligations. Our relevant legal bases include fulfilling service obligations, legitimate interests in providing support and complying with legal requirements.
Depending on applicable law, you have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, and to object to certain processing. Contact the email above to exercise your rights. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your relevant data-protection authority. Requests concerning your customers' invoice information should normally be directed to the business which created the invoice.
Your responsibilities and security
Use the app only with information you are authorised to process. Protect your device with a screen lock, install security updates, check recipients before sharing and protect exported files. You remain responsible for your business's recordkeeping and handling of customer information.
Children
The app is intended for business invoicing and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's information through app registration, since the app has no registration process. Invoice creators are responsible for any passenger information they choose to enter.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the app's information practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
