1. Introduction
Please read these terms carefully. These Terms & Conditions apply to all transportation services and related services booked via our website, telephone, email, or SMS.
By booking with London Direct Chauffeurs, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Data Protection Act
In accordance with the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR regulations, London Direct Chauffeurs is committed to protecting your personal information.
We collect only the information necessary to provide our services.
Your data will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
All data is securely stored and managed in compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Booking and Confirmation
All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
Bookings must be made directly by the client via our website, email, or telephone.
A quotation will be provided based on your requirements.
Bookings are confirmed only once you receive an email or message from us detailing the journey.
Chauffeurs are not permitted to accept direct bookings.
4. Payments
We accept most major credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
Full payment must be made at least 24 hours prior to the booking.
Additional charges may apply for:
Waiting time
Extra mileage
Parking or congestion charges
Any additional charges (e.g., route changes, delays, waiting) will be automatically charged to the card on file unless otherwise agreed.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Standard Bookings (Non-Wedding):
Cancellations made 24 hours or more before pickup: Full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours: Full charge applies.
No-shows at the pickup location: Non-refundable.
Wedding Bookings:
Cancellations within 14 days of the event: Deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations within 7 days of the event: Full charge applies.
Amendments:
Amendments made at least 3 hours before pickup: Free of charge.
Amendments made less than 3 hours before pickup: May incur a fee.
Refund Timelines:
Refunds for card payments may take up to 10 working days to process.
6. Our Services
London Direct Chauffeurs is a licensed private hire vehicle operator.
We only accept bookings for chauffeur driven services directly from clients.
The contract for services is solely between the client and London Direct Chauffeurs LTD.
We provide quotations in advance and confirm all bookings via email/message.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking at our discretion.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients must be punctual and ready at the pickup location at the agreed time.
Clients are liable for any damage they cause to the interior or exterior of the vehicle.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
Clients must not be under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol; chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service in such cases.
Clients must ensure that their luggage and belongings are secure and manageable.
8. Chauffeur Conduct and Safety
All chauffeurs are licensed, insured, and vetted professionals.
Our chauffeurs will operate vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety standards.
We reserve the right to change the assigned vehicle or chauffeur if necessary.
In the event of unexpected delays (e.g., traffic, road closures, extreme weather), we are not liable for lateness.
9. Lost Property
London Direct Chauffeurs is not responsible for lost or damaged items left in the vehicle.
We will make reasonable efforts to return lost items; any postage or delivery costs must be covered by the client.
10. Liability
All transportation services are covered under the insurance policies held by London Direct Chauffeurs LTD.
We are not liable for:
Missed flights, trains, or appointments due to circumstances beyond our control.
Delays caused by traffic, roadworks, adverse weather, or force majeure events.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
Clients will be notified of any significant changes via our website or email.
12. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
